Things we witness through our senses or imagination affect us. Whether outward or inward, our observations are a reflection of the sublime or jaded lens. The interpretation of what we see can align with either, or we can choose differently. It is our responsibility to bear a graceful countenance. It will serve the self as well as your neighbor.
Time is fleeting in life's joy, and plodding when duldrum reigns. We rush to a journey's destination, passing those opportunities to make something of a moment more than a glimpse or afterthought. Siezing the day is more correct by seizing the moment, to make a different choice consciously in how we think of ourselves, of others, and the world. In that observer, is the eternal witness given.
