Its Light Borrowed

Arching across a starry sky,
A silvery sheen shines dream-like;
An elegant misty bow of moon-light
Refracting through high thin frost.

It is the sun's gift.
The full orb splendor long
Sunk below the horizon's ocean;
Its light borrowed by a lunar sphere beaming
Upon a nighted earth dreaming.
