Poems of the Erstwhile

The conflict of infatuation and love spurned was a hotbed for articulation. Someone is always on the unfortunate end of heartbreak, and I filled that role admirably. The erstwhile poems are those once moments of hope and pain. Romance can be a fanciful thing, marked by day dreams and the thick notion of destined love; while its pain can scar with disappointment and resentment. The greater strength is to move past the pain; mature through the specialness of one-true-love, and become an individual of compassion and resilience.
